Cantina Loco 191 Allen Street Buffalo New York 14201 My husband and I stopped into Cantina Loco early in the evening, and made our way up to their chill-in bar. The bar top was decked out with vibrant Mexican art, and the tequila bottles that lined the liquor shelf looked like individual pieces of art. We were quickly greeted by a pleasantly unique bartender, who was most helpful and made my experience at Cantina Loco untouchable. Honestly, this guy was on it ! I sipped on the Smokey Margitia which was intense and packed with flavor and my husband ordered the BoilerMaker, which is a Tecate and a tequila shot (only five bucks for food service amigos ). We ordered the Koreatown Tacos (Grilled Kalbi Shorts, Kimchee, Spicy Sauce) for $6, and the Carnitas (Braised Grilled Pork, Tomatillo Onion Relish, Cilantro ) for $5.50. The picture perfect tacos arrived after a short wait and vanished moments later. I enjoyed both tacos, a friend recommend the Korean Taco and I would like to continue the recommondation onto you. Overall my bar experience was great, and I will be back. But, I think if we had sat at a table, our time wouldn't have been so cool. The decor is not cohesive, the dinning room and the bar seem like two different restuarants. Tweet © 2012 karinevarga.com |
